Healthy mama = healthy baby

We know that every mom wants the best for their baby. Part of that best is taking care of yourself, especially if you are breastfeeding. Pregnancy and post partum are crucial times in our lives to be making sure we get the best nutrition. Often we put ourselves and our bodies on the back burner but it doesn’t have to be that way! Would you like some help in that department? Someone to help you be sure you are making good choices for you and your family?

Let me introduce you to Parul Agrawal, a holisitic & certified Dr. Sears Health Coach and the Green Juice Diva!

Parul Agrawal

Parul is trained to help families with improving their overall health through Lifestyle, Exercise, Attitude and Nutrition. She teaches classes with workbooks, recipes and healthy snacks helping families understand food labels, choose quality ingredients and make easy foods that kids will love!

I wish I had found Parul when I was an expecting mama. Her practices can help you have a healthier pregnancy with less complications in labor. Changing your health during pregnancy can change your life forever. What an amazing gift to yourself, your family and your baby!

This opportunity is not only for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, maybe your kids are older and you are finally finding time to think. Parul’s classes teach us a lifestyle that leads to fewer sick days, reduces medical expenses and improves overall health and happiness!

In addition to her workshops, Parul is available for one on one nutritional coaching, pantry makeovers and cooking classes. You can contact her at

Behind the scenes: a bag stuffing

Our bags are filled with love (and other things that moms will like)

Here’s a quick recap of our afternoon stuffing bags. I will be writing a longer post for each item that we put in our bags so be sure to comment below if you have any questions about a particular item that you see!

We believe that moms can breastfeed without any help- but it’s nice to see some of the products and services that are offered in case you feel like you need help. We try to add only things that are helpful to breastfeeding moms in Arizona. We do sell five advertising spots in our bags for a donation to our project. Comment, email or facebook message us if you want to be featured in our awesome AZ Breastfeeding Bag!

Also, of course we had a nursing break!!

Thank you Sasha and Holly for filling all 200 bags today! These are going to Babymoon Inn, Morning Star OB, The Birth Haven, St Joseph Center for Women’s Health, Freedom and the Seed Midwifery, a few doulas and individual mailers. If you would like to order bags please use our order form on “the bags” page or send us an email or a message.

If you want to be invited to the next bag stuffing event scheduled for April 4th send us an email or a message. If you want to help us by donating supplies we are in need of flannel fabric (for the nursing pads), printer ink, computer paper, disposable nursing pads, breastmilk storage bags and sandwich bags. All can be mailed to AZ breastfeeding Bag Project PO Box 5701, Mesa AZ 85211.

Our hearts are filled with love as we fill each bag, knowing that it is going to help and motivate breastfeeding women in Arizona. This is definitely the best part of our jobs!

Thank you!!!
